I can find fractions!
In Maths this term we have been learning about FRACTIONS

I can find fractions of whole numbers like:
½ of 12 = 6 ⅓ of 9= 3 1/10 of 20= 2
⅔ of 12= 8 ⅘ of 10= 8
I can recognise when a fraction is greater than 1:
½ + ½ + ½ = 1 1/2
⅓ + ⅓ + ⅓ + ⅓ = 1 1/3
7/4 =1 3/4
I can find fractions of whole numbers like:
½ of 12 = 6 ⅓ of 9= 3 1/10 of 20= 2
⅔ of 12= 8 ⅘ of 10= 8
I can recognise when a fraction is greater than 1:

⅓ + ⅓ + ⅓ + ⅓ = 1 1/3
7/4 =1 3/4

How to make a Timotimo!
GARDEN DAY ACTIVITY REFLECTION
This document is a reflection on the purpose, process and outcomes of our Garden Day Activities.NAME: Bernard
Activity: Timo timo
Materials
- Mussel shells, the string and the stick.
- So we can dig our garden and take out weeds
- We went in to groups.
- We got some string and a stick.
- We had 1 mussel each so we could shave the bark off the stick.
- We plaited the string for the handle of the timotimo
What worked well
- using the mussel shell to take off the bark
What didn’t work well
- I couldn’t take the lumps off because it was so hard
What did you learn?
- how to make a timotimo, and how to plait
